Dim+/DimTimer Light Show There are 4 brightness levels for lights. Increase the brightness of lights by pressing dim + for steady light modes. Decrease the brightness of lights by pressing dim for steady light modes. The timer has 6 hour on and 18 hour off cycle, that repeats at approximately the same time as initially set. Cycles through each light function. Twinkle Warm Lights twinkle in warm white. White Steady Warm White Lights are steady on in warm white. Steady Multi Color Lights are steady on in multi. Slow Fade Warm White Lights slowly fade in brightness level (warm white). Slow Fade Multi Lights slowly fade in brightness level (multi). Slow Color Variable Lights vary between warm white and multi. Fast/Slow Flip Lights flip between warm white and multi in two different speeds. Slow Fade Slowly fades between multi and warm white lights. Additional Information: 1. TIMER - NOTE: The timer mode must be started each time the tree is plugged in, or each time power is turned off then back on to the tree. · To enable the timer - Press TIMER button. The timer will start at the time when this button is pressed. When timer is enabled the lights on the tree will flash once. · To disable the timer - Press TIMER button and turn off the lights to disable timer. NOTE: The timer will be enabled until either the timer is disabled with the remote or power is removed from the power adaptor. 2. This tree has 4 different brightness modes. Press Dim+ to increase brightness, Press Dim- to decrease brightness. TROUBLESHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS Lights Troubleshooting WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, and personal injury. a) Unplug the electrical portion of this product before troubleshooting the electrical portion of this product and inspect product carefully. b) Lights are non-replaceable do not attempt to replace. c) Do not connect any other product or device to the connectors or adaptor power supply on this tree. d) Use only with the adaptor power supply that was provided with this product. . If the Lights are Not Connected to the Adaptor Locate the male connector at the bottom of tree Section (1) and align matching tabs on the insides of the connector and the female end of the adaptor power supply. Secure the connection by tightening the collar on the connector. See Figure 6. Adaptor power supply Figure 6 If a Section of Lights is Not Working: 1. Make sure that all the light string plugs within the tree are securely connected. See Figure 7. Figure 7 2. Make sure to align the matching tabs on the insides of both connectors as the connectors are keyed. 3. Check that you have inserted each tree section into the pole firmly to create an electrical connection between each tree section. If ALL of the Tree Lights are Off or Not Working: 1. Make sure the lights are connected to the adaptor power supply. 2. Make sure the adaptor power supply is plugged into a 110V-125V AC outlet. 3. Check to see if there is power to the outlet. Make sure that a switch controlling the outlet is not turned off and is not connected to a dimmer switch. This item will not work on a dimmer controlled outlet. 4. If used on a timer controlled outlet, make sure the timer is rated for use with compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) or LED bulbs, if not, use a different circuit or outlet. 5. If installed on a GFCI circuit or outlet, reset the GFCI in case it activated. 6. Check that you have inserted each tree section into the pole firmly to create an electrical connection between each tree section. If One or More Bulbs are Not Working: This tree has long life LED non-replaceable bulbs, it is ok to leave the non-functioning bulb in the set and continue to use the tree. Do not attempt to replace the bulbs. If Remote is not Working: Replace batteries following the battery replacement instructions noted above. 7.5' LTD Balsam IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including the following: a) READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. b) This item uses an adaptor that is rated for indoor and outdoor use. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire. b) When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including trees, branches, or brushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections and wires. c) When not used, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight. d) Do not impact or drop the AC power adaptor, if enclosure is broken or cracked, discard product. READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. 1. Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product. 2. Do not use an extension cord. 3. Reference the National Electrical Code or ANSI/NFPA 70 specifically for the installation of wiring and clearances from power and lighting conductors. 4. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction. 5. Do not install or use within 10 feet of a pool. 6. Do not use in a bathroom. WARNING 7. : Risk of Electric Shock. When used outdoors, install only to a covered Class A GFCI protected receptacle that is weatherproof with the power unit connected to the receptacle. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation. Ensure that the power unit and cord do not interfere with completely closing the receptacle cover. WARNING 8. : Risk of Fire. Installation involves special wiring methods to run wiring through a building structure. Consult a qualified electrician. WARNING 9. : Risk of Electric Shock. Mount the unit at a height greater than 1 foot (0.3 m) from the ground surface. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for power units. A. General Information 1. Input voltage: 120V AC/60Hz 2. Do not use this adaptor for any other product than the one it is provided with. Do not mix adaptors with different products. B. Installation 1. This product can be installed in either indoor or outdoor locations, but avoid splashing water from falling onto, or reaching the adaptor. 2.
