3. Simple 4-wire installation.
Just run four wires from the Tempstar® communicating outdoor unit to the communicating indoor unit and on to the control.

4. Faster installation & fewer callbacks.
Conventional furnace installations can require an installer to check up to five wiring diagrams and configure half a dozen or more dip switch settings. When you install the Tempstar® control with compatible, communicating equipment, you won't need to consult wiring diagrams or set dip switches.

When you install this new control with compatible communicating equipment, it gives you two important advantages that make service easier:
 EASY-TO-READ FAULT CODES You won't need to count flashing lights or look up fault codes on a list. The Tempstar® control will show you the last 10 fault codes--in plain English. For example, it will display "blower motor fault," not just a number that you have to look up.
 MORE INFORMATION The Tempstar control is programmed with 82 fault-code text messages, not just 10. Plus, it lets you see the last 10 fault codes--even if the power has been shut down.

6. Displays your contact
information.
The Tempstar® control gives you the option of loading your contact information so it can alert the homeowner to call YOU whenever it senses a problem.
You can also set up the Tempstar control to alert the homeowner to call you when it's time for routine maintenance.
