· Always release the pressure from the gauge before disconnecting the quick release coupling.

· Account for all tools and parts being used and DO NOT leave

them in or near the engine.

· WARNING! Select neutral or `park' if automatic transmission and keep hands clear of the rotating engine.

· IMPORTANT: Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer's workshop manual, or a proprietary manual, to establish the current procedure and data.

· When not in use, return all parts in the supplied case and store this in a safe, dry, childproof location.

User Guide
n The purpose of this tool is to pressurise the turbo charging system without the engine running
n Diagnose turbo charged engines for lack of power, poor fuel consumption and drivability etc
n Simply connect to a workshop airline to carry out test n It is recommended to have the manufacturer's workshop manual handy for
correct procedures and specifications n Do not exceed the recommended factory pressure n These instructions are provided as a guide only n Images shown are used for illustrative purposes only

Instructions
Step 1 · Locate a test point where it is easily accessible to attach the test adaptor and the blanking adaptor
Step 2 · It is recommended to pressurise the system to the flow of the charged air · Determine the correct size test adaptors to suit application · Reuse or apply new hose clamps and ensure the hose clamps are secure or torqued to
manufacturer's specifications

Step 3 - Pressurising the system · Before connecting the gauge ensure the regulator knob is fully closed to zero · Connect the pressure gauge to the test adaptor, then connect to the workshop airline · Slowly open the regulator to the desired pressure and lock the regulator knob once
pressure is achieved
Step 4 - Checking for leaks · Carefully listen to air escaping throughout the turbo charging system · HINT: Use some soapy water in a spray bottle to establish fine leaks · The soapy water will produce bubbles if a leak is present
Step 5 - Depressurising the system · To depressurise the system, unlock and turn the regulator to the closed position zero · Disconnect the workshop air line from the gauge and disconnect from the vehicle · Remove test adaptor and blanking adaptor from vehicle and stow away

Intercooler CAUTION: T o avoid injury beware of hot components if engine was running when connecting adaptors

CAUTION: D o not exceed the vehicles manufactured recommended pressure as this may cause damage to the engine and components
