HAZARD: Risk of Electric Shock, the affected units may have transposed (swapped) wires within the cord. When in use they may apply dangerous voltages to appliances creating a shock hazard. Products Affected: R 2702 2 Metre White Extension Lead R2703 3 Metre White Extension Lead R2705 5 Metre White Extension Lead R2707 7 Metre White Extension Lead R2710 10 Metre White Extension Lead R2715 15 Metre White Extension Lead R2601 1 Metre White Extension Lead with Piggy Back Plug R2602 2 Metre White Extension Lead with Piggy Back Plug R2604 4 Metre White Extension Lead with Piggy Back Plug R2606 6 Metre White Extension Lead with Piggy Back Plug R2610 10 Metre White Extension Lead with Piggy Back Plug WITH Date code 2/12, 3/12 and 4/12 as shown below. Products with a different date code are not affected. No other HPM branded extension leads are affected by this recall. Products can be identified by the markings below and the lead length. CAT 100C/6 & CAT 101C ONLY ONLY products with date code 2/12, 3/12& 4/12 Example 2/12 shown ONLY products that have end plugs as shown Available for sale: between the 1st of March and the 14th of June 2012. WHAT TO DO: Customers are advised to stop using the product immediately by ensuring that they are unplugged. Customers with affected products are requested to contact the HPM Legrand Australia Call Centre on 1300 369 777, selecting option 1, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
